I have been a highly respected assignment photographer for more than 20 years, working primarily for magazine, corporate and commercial clients, both in Australia and internationally. The August 9th 2006 issue of Time magazine, for example, introduced me as one of 'Australia's finest photographers'.
Recently I have put renewed energy towards my fine-art photography, in particular the ‘Illuminated Landscape’ essays, which explore the visual wonder of the Australian bush at night, by using a blend of simple hand-torches and available moonlight, to illuminate the scenes into unique and highly personalised images. The images have been described as having a dream-like, nocturnal beauty to them.
